Meet the Searchers
Shane Pittman
You might have seen him on TV, on shows like the Trvl Channel's 'The Holzer Files' and Netflix's spooky series, '28 Days Haunted'. Meet Shane Pittman, a man with a knack for all things weird and creepy. Since he was a kid, he's been wrapped up in the mystery of the unexplained, exploring every nook and cranny of the paranormal world.
Rather than being scared off (well, permanently anyway) by the strange things he's encountered, Shane's experiences have only fueled his drive to dive deeper. He's spent countless hours investigating every theory he can get his hands on, picking apart odd facts, and studying the strange and unknown, all in a quest to understand the paranormal world around him.
Shane's passion for exploring the unknown isn't just a hobby—it's a mission. His enthusiasm and curiosity for the paranormal world aren't just for his own satisfaction. He's using his thirst for knowledge to push boundaries in this captivating and often misunderstood field.
Josh Purvis
For more than a decade, Josh Purvis has been deeply involved in studying unexplained phenomena. His first brush with the paranormal happened at an old house in Savannah, Georgia, known as the Sorrell-Weed house. During a guided tour with his wife, they snapped some pictures in the house's basement. Later, as they were heading home, they found something unexpected in one of their photos - the image of a woman who wasn't there when they took the picture. This incident was a turning point for Josh, sparking a passion that's kept him hooked ever since.
From then on, Josh has explored all across the southeast, seeking evidence of ghosts, aliens, and even the legendary Bigfoot. He also brings a strong background in filmmaking to his work, adding a creative touch to his paranormal investigations.
His path eventually led him to meet Shane Pittman. Over ten years ago, they came up with the idea for 'Searchers', a project dedicated to exploring and understanding the unexplained. The rest, as they say, is history - a story of two friends on an exciting journey into the unknown.
